These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of 1M Finance ("the App"), a personal finance tracking application developed and operated by 1M Finance ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using 1M Finance, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Description of the App

1M Finance is a personal finance tracking and visualization tool. It allows you to manually record transactions, set budgets, track net worth, organize spending by category, visualize your money flow over time, and view computed financial health indicators such as debt-to-income ratio, liquidity runway, and currency exposure. The App supports multiple currencies using third-party exchange rate data.

1M Finance is a tracking and visualization tool only. It is not a financial advisor, investment advisor, bank, or financial institution. Nothing in the App constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions.

The App may display computed financial health indicators, interpretive labels (such as "Manageable" or "Critical"), benchmark references (such as commonly cited thresholds), and hypothetical "what if" scenarios. These features are provided for general informational and educational purposes only. They are based on simplified formulas applied to data you have entered and do not account for your complete financial situation. Benchmark thresholds referenced in the App reflect commonly cited guidelines and do not constitute personalized recommendations. You should not rely on these indicators as a substitute for professional financial advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use 1M Finance. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration and Authentication

To use 1M Finance, you must create an account using one of the following authentication methods provided by Firebase Authentication:

• Email address and password
• Google Sign-In
• Apple Sign-In

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at finance.contact@one-m.app if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Your Financial Data

Local storage only. All financial data you enter into 1M Finance — including transactions, budgets, categories, and net worth records — is stored exclusively on your device. We do not transmit, store, or have access to your financial data on our servers.

Your own cloud backups. If you choose to enable backup, your data is synced solely to your personal cloud storage account: iCloud on iOS, or Google Drive on Android. These backups are governed by Apple's and Google's respective terms of service and privacy policies. We do not access your backup data.

Manual entry only. 1M Finance does not connect to any bank, financial institution, or third-party financial data provider. All transactions are entered manually by you.

You own your data. You retain full ownership of all financial data you enter into the App. We do not claim any rights to your personal financial information.

5. Exchange Rate Data

1M Finance provides multi-currency support using exchange rate data sourced from third-party providers. This data is provided for convenience and informational purposes only.

• Exchange rates may be delayed, approximate, or inaccurate.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any exchange rate information.
• Exchange rate data should not be used as the basis for any financial transaction or decision.

We are not liable for any losses or damages resulting from reliance on exchange rate data displayed in the App.

6. Premium Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

1M Finance offers a free tier and optional premium features available through a subscription. All purchases are processed exclusively through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

• Subscription pricing, billing frequency, and available features are displayed in the App and within the respective app store listing.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings or Google Play account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing or features. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes.

7. No Ads

1M Finance does not display third-party advertisements and does not share your data with advertising networks.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to use 1M Finance only for lawful personal finance tracking purposes. You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App to engage in any fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activity.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or associated services.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks associated with the App.
• Use the App in any manner that violates applicable local, national, or international law.

9. Intellectual Property

1M Finance and all associated content, features, design, trademarks, and code are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on your personal device in accordance with these Terms.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle information related to your use of the App. Because your financial data is stored locally on your device and we do not have access to it, our data practices are minimal. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

1M Finance is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• Any warranty that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
• Any warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any data displayed in the App, including exchange rates.
• Any warranty regarding the accuracy, suitability, or applicability of any computed financial health indicators, ratios, benchmarks, interpretive labels, or hypothetical scenarios displayed in the App.

You use the App at your own risk. We are not responsible for any financial decisions made based on information displayed in the App, including computed indicators, benchmarks, or hypothetical scenarios.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or limitations on applicable statutory rights of a consumer. If these laws apply to you, some or all of the above disclaimers may not apply, and you may have additional rights.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or financial losses arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the App.
• Any inaccuracy in exchange rate or financial data displayed in the App, including computed financial health indicators, benchmarks, or hypothetical scenarios.
• Unauthorized access to or loss of your data stored on your device or personal cloud storage.
• Any third-party conduct or content.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you for all claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in subscription fees in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 1M Finance, its affiliates, officers, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

14. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with or relies on the following third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication (Google LLC) — for account authentication.
• Apple iCloud / Google Drive — for optional user-controlled backups.
• Third-party exchange rate provider — for multi-currency conversion data.

We are not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party services. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

15. Modifications to the App and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.

Your continued use of the App after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.

16. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our discretion, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

Upon termination, your financial data remains on your device and in any backups you have made to your personal cloud storage. We do not hold copies of your financial data and therefore cannot delete data we do not possess.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.

Your local consumer rights are preserved. Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory consumer protection rights you are entitled to under the laws of your country of residence that cannot be waived by agreement. Specifically:

• If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you retain all rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence. You may bring legal proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.
• If you are a resident of California, USA, you retain all rights under applicable California consumer protection statutes.
• In all other jurisdictions, if local law grants you consumer protection rights that cannot be waived, those rights are not affected by these Terms.

For any disputes not subject to the mandatory jurisdiction rules above, the courts of Dubai, UAE shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction. We encourage you to contact us first at finance.contact@one-m.app to resolve any concerns before initiating formal proceedings.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and 1M Finance regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
