Why 1M Finance exists
Most personal-finance apps ask you to connect your bank accounts and hand over your login credentials so they can pull your transactions automatically. That's convenient, but it also means your financial life is copied onto someone else's servers, often alongside ads and data sharing.
1M Finance takes the opposite approach. Your data lives on your device. There are no bank connections, no ads, and nothing sold to third parties. You stay in control of what goes in — by adding transactions yourself or importing a CSV file you choose — and in return you get a calm, clear picture of where your money actually goes.
What we believe
- Privacy is the default. Financial data stays on your device. Optional backups go to your own iCloud or Google Drive account, which we never access.
- Clarity over clutter. Sankey cash-flow diagrams, net worth, budgets, and spending trends are designed to be understood at a glance, not to overwhelm.
- You own your data. Import and export are first-class, so your history is never trapped inside one app.
- No dark patterns. No ads, no selling data, and a subscription you can cancel anytime through the App Store or Google Play.

It visualises your cash flow with Sankey diagrams, tracks your net worth across every account, lets you set category budgets, and supports multiple currencies with automatic exchange-rate conversion into your home currency. A one-tap privacy mode hides every balance when you need it.
